HER STORY:
Her mother started a jewelry business that has been very successful, but she struggles to figure out how to keep all her children enrolled in the many schools they attend around Kenya.
Her older daughters are away at high school/boarding school and she is desperately trying to keep them there so that the father doesn’t “sell” them in exchange for goats and cows. He is traditional Maasai and believes the girls should be married once they finish school at grade 8 (13 years old). She also has 2 sons in university who are helping as best they can, but also struggling to stay there. Julia is very bright, loves to do homework, and takes pride in keeping her classroom neat and tidy.

Sponsorships are available in yearly increments to ensure the children are able to attend a full year of school without interruption. We have three payment options available to fit any budget need. Sponsors may make payments in one lump sum for the entire year, by trimester or monthly.
Your sponsorship includes the following for your student.
- 1 year tuition to Ronesa Academy
- Morning porridge/daily lunch/fruits on Fridays
- 1 uniform ~ shorts (boys), dress (girls), shirt, sweater, socks, shoes
- Yearly photo and update about your child’s progress
