- 4 years ago we recognized the need for a Children’s home. While there are not many orphans in the Maasai community, we felt we needed to provide a home for the few there were and even for some of the kids who need extra help due to difficult family situations. My friend Gloria, from Colorado also, has been providing a home, food, healthcare, an education at Ronesa, and above all a family for these 17 beautiful children. We love them like our own and love watching them thrive from year to year.
