Details

  • Each year, Julie takes teams with her to Kenya. Their days are filled with a number of activities such as: working in the school, taking animals to homes, taking food to the elderly and/or student’s homes, spending time with the orphans, working on various projects in the community, and finding creative ways to improve the school and/or living conditions of those we care for. Of course we always fit in a safari in the Maasai Mara as well as visit the Elephant orphanage and giraffe center. Kenya is, “horribly-wonderful,” and while you will experience culture shock at first, it quickly becomes a difficult process having to go back home.
