Karen is 1 of 18 children from 3 different wives. They are a tight family unit, all living together in the same boma (a traditional Maasai compound where each wife has their own home but they live and raise their families together). They are very needy since the wives (uneducated) have all agreed to see to it that their children have a “proper education.” Karen is very bright, loves school, singing, drawing, and especially loves helping other children to learn English. She also tries helping us with the Maa language. She laughs hysterically at our feeble attempts. She is a sweet little girl.

Sponsorships are available in yearly increments to ensure the children are able to attend a full year of school without interruption. We have three payment options available to fit any budget need. Sponsors may make payments in one lump sum for the entire year, by trimester or monthly.
Your sponsorship includes the following for your student.
- 1 year tuition to Ronesa Academy
- Morning porridge/daily lunch/fruits on Fridays
- 1 uniform ~ shorts (boys), dress (girls), shirt, sweater, socks, shoes
- Yearly photo and update about your child’s progress
